CB Connect - Conflict with Mautic plugin

I seem to have spent ages trying to get CB Connect to operate. I kept getting a 404 error. I eventually found page url on the 404 was referencing the Mautic plug in.
Mautic is an automated Marketing system. The mautic plugin simply identifies a form created within Mautic - which is on a different domain - and renders it on the site.
I can find no way of removing the conflict - largely because I cannot work out why the conflict exists - but when I disable the Mautic plugin CB Connect works.
I really do need both - any suggestions?

Sounds like Mautric is trying to modify the Joomla buffer and is doing so even on &format=raw URLs, which it should not be doing. Contact the developers of your plugin as there's nothing we can do about that.
