first login: "You are not authorized to view this page! You need to log in"

New users are seeing the following error after they click the link in the confirmation email and log in for the first time: "Error. You are not authorized to view this page! You need to logout."

The error doesn't prevent new users from accessing restricted areas of the site.

The first login redirect is blank in CB ->Configuration -> Registration.

Sounds like they're logging in after confirming without leaving the confirmation page. CB shouldn't be allowed to redirect them back to that page. Try setting first login redirect URL to index.php and see if issue persists.
