Show male or female default avatar was created by Buzz50

How can I show the male or female default avatar conditionally on the gender field?

I currently show components/com_comprofiler/plugin/templates/default/images/avatar/tnnophoto_n.png

I see there are:

tnnophoto_m.png
and
tnnophoto_f.png

You can use the layout parameters to override how the avatar field displays when no avatar is selected or uploaded. See below topic for example.
