CB 2.1.3 is in - but I cannot find a change log anywhere.

The "Learn More" link in the Joomla update alert thingy takes me to useless (non-informative!) page
www.joomlapolis.com/?pk_campaign=in-cb&pk_kwd=admin-module-update-button

I did update Joomla to 2.7.3 yesterday.. is this related?

Need to know how to schedule site downtime ASAP...

It's just a versioned release of everything noted below.

forge.joomlapolis.com/projects/cb/issues?query_id=91

We versioned it because it contains the "Install from Web" feature shown below.

www.joomlapolis.com/blog/kyle/18744-install-from-web

This is explained in the newsletter we sent out. Believe we'll have a front page article ready when time permits.

OK, I see the newsletter now... (first thing in the morning I get through all my server checks before I get around to the next hour of weeding through emails...)

I have to say that the newsletter is still vague. I can sort of assume from the tone of it that there is nothing urgent - but nowhere does it EXPLICITLY say "this is a maintenance release" or "this is a security release".

And I still think it would be more in line with 'industry standards' if you could have an obvious 'changelog' or at least some kind of obvious note posted somewhere on the website which tells the users if its a maintenance release or a security patch - preferably on www.joomlapolis.com/news/releases

Incidentally I had to scroll to PAGE THREE of that link to even find the tiny note about 2.1.3 release.
And all it says is a generic description of the PRODUCT - no valuable information about the release...

Because it's neither. If it's an urgent release we will say as such. It's just a versioned build. We only release versioned builds when it has something note worthy that we want those not using nightlies to be notified of as Joomla version checker can't check for nightlies. They're all but pointless beyond that. We do "builds" here (or "nightlies"); all of which goes through the same testing and review process of a versioned build.

And I still think it would be more in line with 'industry standards' if you could have an obvious 'changelog' or at least some kind of obvious note posted somewhere on the website which tells the users if its a maintenance release or a security patch - preferably on

We link to the changelog in the front page article or the forum topic attached to it. We have not created the front page article yet. Our releasing process is 90% automated. We're not going to make people wait a day or two for an article to be published. We make a release, we send a newsletter, we publish an article, and we provide a changelog. Anyone that's "quick to the punch" will need to check the log manually or give it a day for us to publish everything.

Incidentally I had to scroll to PAGE THREE of that link to even find the tiny note about 2.1.3 release.

That's because I can't exclude subtypes from the releases page so the language plugins pushed CB 2.1.3 off the first page. This is fixed in our module on the home page, but it's a bug in CB Package Builder I need to fix as noted below. Once I have it fixed and we've it installed the releases page will ignore language plugins from then on since they just spam the page.
