Is it possible to show text for the terms and conditions on the right hand side of a registration form with a checkbox?
I've set the field to show as '1 line with empty title' and added the terms and conditions text to the description, which almost works, but the description text is now only shown when hovering over the checkbox

The description will always show like that. To adjust what label is shown next to the terms and conditions checkbox you need to adjust "Type" as needed under Parameters > Display (where you can also specify your terms and conditions or URL to terms and conditions).
