Hello,
Can you direct me to documentation on how to integrate AlphaUserPoints into CB. I'd like to assign AUP for CB activities like when a user completes a profile.

I have installed the AUP profile plugin for CB (assuming that was necessary....) but it seems to be just tabs to display AUP in the CB profile.

I see the possibility of adding to AUP through CB auto actions but that seems arduous for each activity.

I wonder if i am just missing the documentation somewhere, sorry if there is an obvious answer, I just couldn't find it.

We've no integration with AUP. You'd have to use CB Auto Actions and a Code action with Method set to PHP then provide all the coding your self. See AUP API documentation for what code to use.
