How are you reaching that old help us help you page? Our new help us help you is directly under Support menu item and is the below page.

www.joomlapolis.com/help-us-help-you

The URLs in question not working are because they're old Joomla 1.5 URLs. There's only so much we can do to route them to Joomla 3.x. I've corrected some of the links, but that's an archived article and should more or less just be ignored.

Your best resource for getting started will be the CB Primer Book, which you can download below.
