user image display in list and profile was created by webart-workers

hi
i have ~800users, most of them have an image,
the image should be displayed in userlist and userprofile, thats what it was.
now i made "synchronize users" in tools,
result is : most of the userimages are lost, not displayed.
otherwise, is in the list the placeholder image displayed, and in profilesite the real image..?

the list config with columns and definitons is set correct.
do i have to reset database?

understandable?
any idea?

Synchronizing users doesn't touch the avatar field. You are likely synchronizing new users, which will of course use whatever the default image is for the avatar field. Aside from that I don't understand your issue, sorry.
