[SOLVED] CB conditional migration did not work

Hi Kyle,
I had set up extensive conditionals and they all failed when I tried to migrate it.They had all been dependent on what a user chose in a field. I have now installed the old version again (and it works) but is there any way to migrate the changes over? I have spent a good half a week setting up the conditions on all of them...

Conditions should be migrating fine. The only conditions that can't migrate is conditions to show/hide field options since there's no replacement for that usage. Ensure you've saved CB Conditional plugin parameters at least once so it sees the old parameters and triggers the migration as it'd be too heavy to check if old conditions exist on every install for every field/tab.

Done that but it still does not work... I have tried to install the old conditional again and the conditionals work then.

However, as soon as I re-install conditional 5 it stops working again... I have tried SAVE on the plugin (3x), tried saving several different fields... will not work...
I have quite a few fields (between 100 to 200) as the fields are always different depending on the type of business that is chosen.

Any idea?

I've no idea. Migration works perfectly fine in all my tests. This was tested thoroughly with all condition types except conditioning of field options since that functionality was removed. I've just now retested this and it's still working in my tests. The only explanation I can give is the migration is failing due to an error. Enable debug mode and maximum error reporting in Joomla global configuration. Install CB Conditional 4.x, save CB Conditional plugin params, install CB Conditional 5.x, and see if any errors output (if none check server error log).

Are you using conditional others? Conditional self? or both?

Please create a copy of your install and PM backend login credentials of the copy. Will review migration process there and see what could be going wrong. I unfortunately can not confirm your issue on any of my test installs.
