Hello, how does your demo.cbdemosites.com/ page have this feed layout with updates? Is this the Group Jive system?

Also how do you get the comments on the photos from other users? Same things as above?

That is CB Activity stream.

You can login to our demo site as an admin and see how everything is configured

That's CB Activity as Nick said. To get activity to log on the stream you need CB Auto Actions, which comes with System Actions for logging various activity (you can create more activity logging actions as needed). The commenting in CB Gallery is also enabled by CB Auto Actions and is powered by CB Activity (CB Auto Actions bridges the two plugins together).
