[SOLVED] two emails with different passwords sent on registration by Admin

Not having installed CB on a new site recently, I was surprised to see the email bodies and subjects blank and searched in vain for the language file entries?
I eventually found the info tips telling me to leave these all blank to suppress sending of pending and welcome
(I have Generate pwd Yes, Admin approve No, Email Confirm No, Reg same as CMS, and CMS = Reg No, Send email=Yes)
and I am entering name, username and email, empty password fields and Save, for a set of collaborators to get them on board quickly,

but they get two different emails, with different passwords, one right, one wrong; the body text is different but I am not sure which is pending and which is confirmation, I didn't set the texts? I do not wish to have continuing conversations about software settings with these sometimes senior academics and a research website.
Can you advise a set of settings that will work please?

Are you sure it's CB sending the emails? Setting subject and body empty within CB > Configuration > Registration disables pending and welcome emails sent from CB, but it does not disable Joomlas nor any other emails that maybe configured. You have to disable Joomlas within Extensions > Plugins > User - Joomla!. You can also just turn off emails globally within Joomla global configuration if you need to temporarily suppress sending of emails entirely.

They both look like the "old" standard emails
Trying again now: delete a user:check all text boxes in Reg config empty apart from REGISTRATION_EMAIL_FROM_NAME, REGISTRATION_GREETING, REGISTRATION_CONCLUSION
other settings as mentioned before; add New user, leaving password field empty, Save:
- now, only one arrived, but pwd not recognised! I seem to have stopped the one with probably the right one!

certainly sent by CB! Note first pwd was 8 char, 2nd, 12 char, is this any clue?
I posted this problem some long time ago, but could not find it in the current Forum/ My Posts?

First one is Joomlas. Second one is CBs. First one you can disable within Extensions > Plugins > "User - Joomla!". Second one you can disable by simply creating them as approved already (it's sending that email because you are approving an otherwise unapproved user). Be sure you are creating them within CB > User Management and not within Joomlas user manager.

Looks like that fixed it Joomla email off, "New User Details" in Welcome Email Subject
and text in Welcome Body with [DETAILS]
