Log in page appearing twice

Hello, can you please help to remove the double log in displayed in the website?

One is the login page and one is your login module. No, you can not disable the login page. You can set your login module to display on all pages except the login page through using Joomla module assignment functionality and ensuring you've a Joomla menu item to CBs login page.

My default Joomla Login is unpublished. I am only publishing CB log in page (which is appearing twice). There is also a message on the login page "please login first". The CB login on the right(in the picture) makes sense. the CB log in on the left appears to show up with the message. I doubled checked that all of the articles other than login is set to be only for registered users. so not sure why the CB log in page appears. Any thoughts?

You're not seeing Joomlas login page, but CBs login page.

The login page is not displaying twice. One is the login page (left one) and one is your login module (right one).

There is also a message on the login page "please login first".

Because whatever they're trying to access requires them to be logged in before they can access it.

In short everything you're seeing is working normally and as expected. If you don't want your login module to show on the login page then create a Joomla menu item to CBs login page if you don't already have one then configure your login module not to display on that menu item using Joomlas assignment parameters within the module.
