Is there anywhere I can read about how to properly setup the "Verify field input" feature? What goes in the "Label for the verify email field" input box?

Currently with this feature enabled I get the following error:

"Email : Email and verification do not match, please try again."

Thanks,
Josh

All that feature does is require them to input the same email address twice to verify what they've input is correct. The label parameter lets you change the label for that field.

When I enable it a second email field does not show, but I get this error: "Email : Email and verification do not match, please try again."

It should already be enabled by default. Works perfectly fine on our demo site below.

demo.cbdemosites.com/

I've guessing you've something installed hiding it. Switch to default Joomla protostar template and see if it displays.

I tested it with three other templates and I still didn't see the verify field. I looked at the code and that field is missing.

Any other ideas I could try to trouble shoot this? I previously had the verify email plugin working.

You don't need a verify email plugin. If still installed uninstall it. The verify email field is enabled by editing the email field within CB > Field Management and setting "Verify field input" to "Enable" under Parameters > Validation.
