Using the CB Conditional integration with a Birth Date field, I hide it in profile edition. When I modify any field, on return, the date of birth has been initialized.

Attached screenshots of the sequence.

Updated to the latest versions:
  • CB Core 2.1.4
  • CB Conditional 5.0.0+build.2018.04.23.14.43.49.937fe324f

Fields conditional hidden have their values reset. That's working exactly as intended. If you don't actually want it visible in profile edit just toggle off its profile edit display or consider using CB Privacy to disable its profile edit display. Both of those usages will not reset its value. Your alternative is to globally disable value resetting for conditions in CB Conditional > Parameters.
