I am attempting to disable the timezone in the user profile editing. I select system --> global --> user and select hide frontend but the time zone setting still appear. I would like to disable this for all users or at least limit the ones they can see. Thank you in advance.

You can disable all the Joomla user parameters by setting "Allow CMS User Parameters" to "No" within CB > Configuration > User Profile. If you just want to hide a few of the user parameters you'll need to edit the params field in CB > Field Management then use the Hide Parameters option under the parameters tab.

I have "Allow CMS User Parameters" = YES, but I don't see time zone in the list of fields or on the registration tab. Also, on System / Users:Options I have Frontend User Parameters = Show.
I would like the user to have the ability to enter his/her time zone. Thank you.
Time zone selection is a part of the "params" field. Ensure its set to display on profile edit within CB > Field Management and that it's on a tab that's accessible to the user. If it already is then edit it and ensure you didn't hide timezone in the "Hide Parameters" parameter.
