[SOLVED] CB Subs Duplicated Charge was created by fede312
I have a member that is been charged twice every month for the membership, for the past 3 month. Any idea what could be happening?
I'm attaching a screen shot.

Sounds like they've 2 subscriptions active at Stripe. Check within your Stripe account. This can happen if their payment source expires (e.g. card expires) and Stripe is set to retry failed payments then the user manually renews from CBSubs it causes a new subscription to be created and the only one reactivates due to the retries.

Disable retries within Billing > Settings. Set "Retry rules" to "Custom dunning rules" then set the first option to "Stop trying to collect payment and…" and "Then finally" to "cancel the subscription".

This is a known issue, but at this time I don't have a solution beyond disabling retries. CBSubs doesn't have a "retry" state. It simply goes expired and can't "pause" it self. CBSubs Stripe should've forced that cancelled though unless your install is not up to date or you're not using webhooks as I've already implemented for failed payment webhooks to cancel the subscription at Stripe, but will reviewing if I can make this behavior more aggressive or shut off retries from CBSubs.

Thanks! I did the changes in my Stripe account.
For this particular member, besides refunding the payments and adjusting the ACL permissions. Is that all I have to do to avoid the duplicated charge next month?

You'll need to cancel the duplicate subscription at Stripe within Billing > Subscriptions.
