CB Connect and other sites

I am not sure if this should go here or this would be a different issue, but I am trying to figure out if there is a way to have a single sign on with a site not listed in those included in CB Connect. We have set up a membership site with Wild Apricot, but want to maintain our Joomla website. Something like CB Connect would be perfect, but I see that it is limited to major social networking sites. How would we set up a single sign on with a site like Wild Apricot?

It will not work with providers that it does not support. So no it will not work with Wild Apricot.

Someone did develop a single sign on between Wild Apricot and Joomla, but that was a few years ago. It can be found here:

Documentation is somewhat sparse, and I don't see a way to contact the developer. Would this work on a site where we are using Community Builder, if you have any idea? I am not even sure where to put the files, but I am assuming at the top level.

No, as it'd only create and login a Joomla user. They would have no CB user in the database and it would not be utilizing CB API for login.
