Adding a social media bar in CB profile.

Hi, I don't know where to ask. I love using this plugin and the system works. However, I want the CB profile in my website has a social bar which when it clicks it goes to their social media.

Is it possible to do? If yes, how can I manage to get it done. I really need it to get done really quick.:pinch:

CB Connect provides fields that can link to some of the social media sites if they've linked their social media account to CB. Beyond that just use a text field for them to supply their social media username then format it using the layout parameters as needed. Example as follows using layout.

Text Field: cb_facebook
Parameters > Profile Value Layout:
They'd provide whatever their Facebook nickname is to cb_facebook and it'd format it into a link. You can use whatever HTML you want so if you want it to be a Facebook button or something you can do that.

As for putting it above the gallery like that there is no option for that as there is no tab position there and the gallery tab can not have fields added to it. So you'll need to find a more appropriate space. My recommendation is inside the canvas header, which will display to the right of the avatar.

Apparently, the solution you gave me is worked. Thank you. However, when I put the position where you suggested near the profile picture, the name and the value arrangement seems off.

If you look on the picture where I attached, the The 'Boutique Name' should be at the left side and the 'Yan Butik' should be on the right. But, it is the other way round.


Same goes to mobile view. Is there any way to fix this?

That position is typically for counters so it'll reverse the value and label. Suggest not displaying the title for the field there or you'll need to consider writing some CSS to stop the reversal. My recommended location for links like that is the "Canvas Info" tab position.
