Keep in mind changing those values has no impact on already uploaded photos. You'll need to re-upload to notice the change.

Thank you. The avatar values were blank. I guess, it was taking the defaults from CB general setup. That had values and they were different from the recommendation. I decided to fill the recommendation at the avatar field. After the change, the pictures display look larger and square.

Yup, if those values are blank it'll just use the defaults within CB > Configuration > Images.

Thank you Krileon . Does the same applies to the picture gallery.? They look a bit distorted on the album display but once opened, they look small but OK.

CB Gallery image settings are within CB Gallery > Parameters > Photos > Validation and yes if they are empty it will use CB > Configuration > Images values.
