Migrating to New Website was created by nphic
Folks,

I've been using CB and CBSubs for a very long time in the SAME website. Over the years, our website has grown out of control with components, modules, and plugins. We build a new website from scratch and I'm beginning to migrate components I want in the new website.

Question. What is the suggested way to move CB and CBSubs into my new website. I need to make sure I take all the current data in the migration.

Thanks for your help!
Joe

We provide no tool to help with migrating data. It's all a manual process. Ensure both have Joomla, CB, and your CB plugins up to date. Then I suggest just manually moving database tables using phpmyadmin. For CB the relevant database tables would be all tables beginning with _comprofiler, _cbsubs, and _groupjive. For Joomla user data you'd need _users and _user_usergroup_map at the very least, but ideally all _user tables, _viewaccesslevels, and _usergroups.
