Chain of auto actions

Is it possible to organize a chain of subsequent auto actions immediately after 1 event/trigger? I have such a chain, but it occurs to me that different subsequent actions on the same trigger are not effectively executed. As a pragmatic solution I can follow a chain of triggers to make all the actions done, but this is unfavourable, since the list is long and the user can follow more than just one pathway...

Yes, you can chain auto actions. This is done using the autoactions_onAction trigger, which is fired when an auto action finishes executing. Its variables are as follows.


It is important that you condition against [var2_id] which is the auto action id of the auto action that just executed. If you don't you will end up in an infinite loop.

I think this really needs to be made easier though. Have added a feature ticket to implement chaining support, which would just let you select from a list of auto actions and it'll handle the chaining for you.

Thank you for your reply. It should indeed become easier. The suggested code with variables is too difficult too me, since I am not a programmer. I do not know how to define the variables and how to close/finalize the code.
