Hi Kyle,
Is there a possibility for a notification to make a sound? ie when a certain type of notification is received, it makes a small beep? or so that it makes a small sound whenever a new notification is received?

Or another thing... Is it possible to have the notification showing up on the browser?

There's no such feature. There are not plans for such a feature at this time as UX wise it's annoying to the majority of users. As for browser notifications yes those are planned in a future release.
