Hello
We defined a custom field (type image) where we would like to upload image files in svg format. CB uploading permits only gif, png, jpg, jpeg.
Is there any possibility to upload svg into a CB field?
If not: is it maybe planned to include svg format in later CB versions?
Image fields do not permit SVG. Currently only CB Gallery can allow for SVG if explicitly enabled. It's possible for malicious code execution to be done through an SVG so I don't recommend letting them render as images. You can instead use a File fieldtype which will allow users to download the SVG. Image fields will support SVGs in a future release, but only if explicitly enabled.
