Yes, but you'll need to write the CSS for that. Example as follows.
Code:
.cb_template .cbPosCanvasTop { height: 400px; }

That would change it from 200px to 400px height. You can do the same to make it smaller. Use responsive CSS to have multiple sizes across devices, etc.. You can apply this CSS to CB using the built in CSS Overrides functionality shown below.

It's a tab position. So it doesn't have to have the canvas field there. You can put whatever you want there then supply whatever CSS you may need to size the content for that location. There's no need for a special option for this since it can already be done.
