Have reviewed your install. Import is working fine until it fails to save date fields as the import didn't supply a default date of at least 0000-00-00 00:00:00. Specifically birthdate field, work start/end, and education start/end. As you're just using CB Quickstart fields I've attached a sample import CSV file that has the defaults set for you. Simply fill out the field data and it will import fine.

Additionally below are my LibreOffice settings when opening the CSV. These should be available regardless of the software. Note when you save the CSV be sure to save as text format. I cannot provide any advise on other software as I do not have other software, but again to get around CSV formatting problems we provide XML and JSON import/export support.
