If you've Kunena's CB integration enabled then be sure the formatname field is set to display on profile. Note you can move it to a tab that's in a not shown on profile position if you don't want it actually visible on profile. It might also be a name format compatibility issue. What is "Name Format" set to in CB > Configuration > General? Try setting it "Username Only". I believe Kunena only supports the first 4 naming display options.
