I'm very familiar with CB outside of GroupJive, but decided to build a site with Groups to learn more about it. I have what I know is probably a very easy question, but I'm just not finding the answer.

I have CBGallery disabled for individual profiles, but once I enter a group I can not find where to disable the Gallery tab displayed inside of the group. I am able to enable/disable the plugins for Files, Photos, and Videos to remove those tabs, however. Likewise, I don't see actual tabs to edit for the group in the backend, i.e. publish, unpublish, change display name.

 

Could you please point me in the right direction?

That's provided by CB Auto Actions. Within CB Auto Actions > System Actions unpublish the CB Gallery integration actions for GJ and you're all set.

Perfect, thank you.
The only other issue is that I don't see actual tabs under Tab Management to edit for the group in the backend, i.e. I'd like to change the displayed name of some of the tabs shown inside of the group. Is this done by editing the plugin name, perhaps?

CB GroupJive at this time doesn't have tab management. They're just built into the plugin. So to rename them you'll need to use language overrides.
