Hi, does the content bot also works in the Joomla own module?
Best regards Uwe

It works anywhere Joomla content plugins are supported so if they're enabled in your Joomla content module then yes.

Also CB Content Module is a content module that natively supports substitutions among many other great features that you might want to consider using.

Hi Kyle thank you, yes, it´s great.

The only problem I have is the following: I have listings, created by Jreviews. I want, that automatically the footer of a listing contains the name and the adress of the listing owner. Therefore I tried it with a Joomla "own module" and e.g. [userfield="formatname" user="#displayedorme (or just #displayed od just #me).
But only the field of the of the viewing user will be shown. I also switched the options in the plugin from viewer to author and back. I think, that the module "does not know" who ist the author of the content displayed beside of it :-)...Is there maybe a solution for that (not a real coding solution)?
Best regards Uwe

It's not possible to know who the author is from random extensions. Additionally for #displayed that only works on CBs profiles. Generally for that use case you'd use CB Content Bot to insert the content in that extension wherever that extension supports content plugins as you'll have access to the content object assuming they sent one to Joomla's prepare content event. Your only other option is to make your own module/plugin specifically for that extension.
