Can't send messages as a regular member

Thanks, I think I understand that now. I think it's a bit confusing for users simply because the term "messages" now means two different things with different uses, behaviours and methods of access. For simple messages to the whole group it works fine, except that as a user I would expect them to appear with the private messages. I think the only way to find them is when they're notified via the CB workflows module. Once they're read, I don't see how to get back to them.

Nonetheless, I think I'm going to use the email option for this instead, in HTML mode. That seems to display the JCE editor and works as you described. There are a few other things around this, but I'll start a new thread for those as I think this one has now digressed.
