GJ group file upload not automatically published and no notification

Member uploaded file to the group. It wasn't automatically published and I didn't get any automated notification. It seems a bit odd. If it's not automatically published I'd want a notification, but anyway I'd prefer that they are automatically published. I went looking at the config and found this:
 

Why are the choices for "new file needs approval" notify or don't notify? I think I'd expect to see choices "yes" or "no" to that question.

I see there's an option to control file approval at the time of creating a group through the front end, but there's no option in the back end to alter this choice, as far as I can see.
 

Now I see through the front end that my committee group has files enabled without need for approval. That doesn't seem consistent with what I described at the top of this thread.

Group notifications are per-group. If you want to receive that notification you need to visit the notifications page in that group and enable it. That parameter in CB GroupJive Files lets you configure the default value for that notification so you can configure it to be enabled by default if you wanted.

As for the files themselves if set to "Enable" and not "Enable, with Approval" it should be published. Will take a look and see if there's a possible bug there. I however would recommend to stop using Photos, Files, and Videos integrations as they're entirely replaced by CB Gallery integration. Same for Wall integration as is replaced by CB Activity integration. Both provide substantially more features.

I have retested the GJ File integration and my files seam to be published fine. Do you see the Published parameter at the top when uploading a new file? Example below.
