You'll need to configure CB Blogs to use Joomla as its model. To do this navigate to CB > Plugin Management then edit CB Blogs. Next under Parameters > Blogs set "Model" to "Joomla". Now set "Category" to the Joomla article category where blogs will be stored. So for example you should have something like the below in Joomla article categories.
Blogs
- Movies
- Music
- Videos
In this case "Category" would be set to "Blogs". This would let users select Movies, Music, or Videos for their blog category as well.
