Issue with "New Group" Menu Item

Hello,
When I create a Joomla menu item of type plugin “New group,” the Create New Group buttons do not have the expected menu item URL.
Additionally, it is not possible to assign any module specifically to the page used for creating a new group.

Could you please advise how to fix this or if there is a workaround?

It should use that menu item if you're viewing the all categories page, but if you're viewing a category it'll use that categories menu item and not your generic new group menu item.
