There is no visible difference for the owner between a media or album when unpublished. Is there a solution to see if media or album is unpublished ( like a red dot or label...) ?
There's no plans to add a visual for that as it's visible in the dropdown and during edit. However in latest build release I've added a CSS class (the "galleryUnpublished" class) to containers for unpublished albums and media, which you can use to add whatever CSS you'd like to make them stand out however you like (or insert an icon somewhere).

fyi, I have implemented the feature on my site . When a photo or an album are unpublished, a red cross ( or any fontawesome6 icon) is displayed on the image. We used the css class you mentionned.Â
