CB Gallery 3.0: Activity Stream while publishing/unpublishing albums or photos

Be sure not to edit default templates. You will lose your changes every time you update CB Gallery. Make a new folder in that /templates folder called "custom" for example then copy over the template folders/files you want to modify. Next edit your galleries in CB Gallery > Galleries and select your new "custom" template. This will preserve your changes.

Went ahead and added a feature ticket to review possible designs for pending indicators in grid views instead of just in the modal window, but can't make any promises here as will need to find what works best across multiple images (different color combinations, etc..).

Yes, on my site it was a quick and dirty hack, I will follow your advice to secure and ease the maintenance. Thank you for adding this feature and i understand it's maybe not so easy to implement properly. But this is not of the prime importance, and moreover i already have the feature in DIY...
( I will be more interested to have the update of publish date and, above all, the parsing of hashtags in description of media because it will be key to handle this in our photo community   )

Ok, the preview status icons are nearly finished being implemented. Below is what they will look like for most visibility. Not much else can be done as it's too hard to see them without boxing them out.

 

Ok, a new CB Gallery build release is now available fixing the inconsistency of status icon display. They now guarantee display for all views/containers where a border change is made (e.g. pending or controversial). They all have a CSS class respective to their view as well so they can be moved/removed/restyled as needed.

Kyle, after installing the latest CB gallery, i do not see any difference (no icon for unpublished photo or album, no activity consistently with publish date..), is there a mistake somewhere ?

Please be sure you've the latest CB Gallery build release installed and if you've any Joomla caching that you've cleared the cache. You should then see that pending icon for pending gallery entries in grid views. Note if you created a custom template for CB Gallery you'll not see this change as your custom template won't have it so you need to revert back to default templates or update your custom template.
