is there a chance of toggle/remove the editor for the description of an event in GroupJive?
I only want to allow plain text...
There wasn't such a feature, but have added a feature ticket to implement for next GJ Events release to turn off the WYSIWYG editor and use plaintext only.
Just discussed the issue with some community members of mine. It would be preferable to just have the editor toggled at the inital view of a new event ...
Not sure I understand what you mean by this. All editor functionality is controlled by the editor not GJ Events. So you'd need to review your editor plugins parameters for something like that.
