I am poping up an old concern from 2 months ago. When a user set a photo privacy as [public] within an album, the media cannot be public once the related album privacy is not [public] too. I was wondering if such mechanism was implemented in CB Gallery 4 - see below the answer from the previous topic
Will review adding checks for minimum allowed privacy options for media based off album privacy. This isn't a priority issue though so that won't be reviewed and possibly implemented for awhile.
That is not being implemented in 4.0.0. You can check the ticket yourself using that link. It was moved to 5.0.0, because there's no functionality in CB Privacy to do that.
