changing icons

Hi there,

I tried to replace the icons of the uddieim user interface.
I changed the suffix from gif to png in the uddeim.php of the component and the mailbox module because my icon set is png. It works with the menu.
What else do i have to change to let the png`s appear in the uddeim component itself?

Hi debonair86,

i did it. You can find die images in "..components/com_uddeim/uddeim.php".
Search for image extensions like ".gif,.png,.jpg" and you will find the icons.
The icons are located in: "components/com_uddeim/templates/*YOUR TEMPLATE*/images/".

Yes I have done it, I put an image in components/com_uddeim/templates/*YOUR TEMPLATE*/images/ and then I went in the php file and replace the name of the new image... in the site doesnt display the new one, but only letters instead of the image.

make sure you have named to images correctly and copied them to the right location. What format do your new icons have?

I have checked several times. I replace for example the icon forward.gif and only when the image called with the same name I can see the difference otherwise I cant see any change. And the problem is that I want to change the format to png.
