uddeIM 2.5 has been released

It works fine on Joomla 1.7. Please check the README/FAQ which archive is the correct one (*_j16.zip).

I am very sorry bud, but I have used this component before, but on Joomla 1.5 and I think the uddeIM version was like 2.3. I have to say that I know what I am doing I always read the readme of everything I download b4 I even try to install them on my site. Though, I can answer you post here, I have attached the file that I have tried for like 3 days now to install and it is not working at all, even after I fix all the errors that are posted here on the forums. I have to say though, if you are so sure that it will install on Joomla 1.7.2, I will pm ya my information to my joomla admin so you can log in and I want you to use the same exact file that I have attached to this post, and you can experience the frustrations that I have been going through for the last 3 days. Let me know if you would like to try and install this file yourself, it would be my pleasure to give you my admin information.

kk I'm sorry I am not allowed to upload the file because it is over the amount set by the admin. So I am going to try and upload the file with just english version of it.

this is the english version only. I have tried to install both versions of the component and it will not boot. Then when I get it to boot I get a 404 page inside the admin. Like I said I have tried for 3 days and now I'm just completely frustrated with trying to install it. Again let me give you my admin login information and you try it and tell me what ya think is wrong with it.

I tried a fresh install of Joomla 1.7 and it finally installed, but it is a little inconvenient that you have to do a complete uninstall, and then re-install Joomla and then make the pms the first component installed. Even though I did this and it worked, now I have to go and install everything that I had on the site before the uninstall.

It is nothing wrong with uddeIM but it seems that your SEF component has some problems with uddeIM (uddeIM requires several parameters so some SEF components have to be configured correctly before uddeIM runs fine).

A fresh Joomla installation confirms that uddeIM is fine and the problem is caused by another component.
