Mosmail versus Jmail was created by drdehart

We get SMTP errors when using the mosmail setting in uddeim, but Kunena is able to send just fine - I think Kunena uses Jmail to call the Joomla global settings. Can you see any reason that Jmail would work and mosmail would not?
