[SOLVED] Fatal error in CB after updating uddeIM

Hey,

I've just updated my Joomla from 1.6.6 to 1.7.1, and uddeIM from 2.3 to 2.5. After the update, when trying to access CB in frontend I get a blank page with this error message:

"Fatal error: Call to undefined method JLanguage::getBackwardLang() in /path/to/components/com_uddeim/uddeimlib15.php on line 174"

Does anyone else have the same issue? Does anyone know what's going on, and how to fix this?

The update was straightforward: I backed up my uddeIM settings, installed the new version over the existing one, and imported the backed up settings. That's it.

uddeIM itself seems to be working just fine, but CB is totally knocked out by this error. Isn't that a bit odd?

I'm doing major work on CB this weekend, so this came at a really bad time. I hope this can be fixed within the next 12-14 hours, or else I might have to uninstall uddeIM, and I REALLY don't want that.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Two possibilities:

- You have not updated to 2.5 but 2.4 which has this problem.
- You have not updated all modules, plugins and uddeIM CB plugins.

make sure you are on CB 1.7.

Ok, now I just feel stupid. You're absolutely right, the cb plugin also needed to be updated. :blush:
