The new version (2.5) of the uddeIM PMS CB plugin is named differently from the old one when it's installed. Anyone who currently has an older version of the plugin (in my case, 2.3) and tries to install the new one over it will end up with 2 conflicting plugins which break each other and cause any fields they create to disappear. This is easily resolved by deleting the old plugin, but it can be a pain to track down. Would be better if the naming had remained the same. As it is, this new uddeIM PMS plugin also breaks naming convention with all the other uddeIM 2.5 CB plugins.
It was renamed because some people did not find the messaging plugin in the CB plugin manager.
Yes, when updating the plugin without installing the old one, the two plugins are conflicting because of double declared functions. I will add a warning to the FAQ.
