But there's nothing to change there.. there is one row DIV starting and ending in the same row, div contains only $quotedivider , another variable and [2] ... this is it.
What can be changed here ...?

Sorry but this doesn't change nothing, I mean doesn't do what I wrote .. "make 2x <br> between replies"

If I go like you said in inbox and outbox.php and delete 2x n\ this deletes 2x <br> but not to the replies in the message, but to the replies in the TEXTAREA when you're viewing a message... and it deletes 2x <br>

again there is nothing to change here( the only thing make a "change" is margin-top: 8px, which AGAIN make changes only to the first reply not to all
