Hello,

Im having a problem with the profile-link from the plugin uddeIM PMS.

Basally when I try to open a profile from the tab PMS, "Name Surname@"

it opens the following link:
SITE/userprofile/namesurname

instead of
SITE/cb-profile/userprofile/namesurname

to be able to see the profile.

How do I change the link format adding "cb-profile" in the between of the link-string?

Many thanks.

?

The cb_plug_pms_uddeim_profilelink plugin creates a link that points to the compose page of uddeIM? So I do not understand your question. The plugin does not contain any code that points to an user's profile.

LINK 1
Basically, the Name Surname@ link which is the link of people that have sent a PM, works perfectly fine in the CB profile and the link is index.php/cb-profile/username

LINK 2
It doesn't work as a new-menu item type uddeIM PMS component. This is because the link is different: index.php/username

What it does miss is the "cb-profile" string for the LINK 2, allowing a direct link to the users profiles.

So my question was if there is a way to add "cb-profile" before the actual /username string, see LINK 1
to be able to open the user profiles.

I think that your SEF is not working correctly.

"index.php" should never appear in a correct Joomla installation, so I guess because of this fault Joomla framework passes the wrong path to uddeIM.

Check your .htaccess file and Joomla settings.

I'm not quite sure what to change.

## Begin - Joomla! core SEF Section.
#
RewriteRule .* - [E=HTTP_AUTHORIZATION:%{HTTP:Authorization}]
#
# If the requested path and file is not /index.php and the request
# has not already been internally rewritten to the index.php script
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !^/index\.php

# and the requested path and file doesn't directly match a physical file
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f

# and the requested path and file doesn't directly match a physical folder
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d

# internally rewrite the request to the index.php script
RewriteRule .* index.php [L]

#
## End - Joomla! core SEF Section.
