I am using uddeIM on a locked down server that uses MANDRILL (with a harsh set of rules) to make sure all emails from a website are 100% correct and official. My Joomla is also configured to use MANDRILL on a non-standard port
I am confused with uddeIM in that it has its own mailer (it appears) and does not use the Joomla mail settings. I have a choice of
phpmail
mosMAIL
Which is useless to me as this sends mail direct from the server which I do not want at all, I want everything tracked through MANDRILL so I can get the reports of bounces (and be able to remove people from getting mails) so we can have as close to 100% track records and reputation as possible.
Can uddeIM not be configured to use the Joomla mailer as opposed to its own? (without me having to go in and hack the code)
