Blocking all user groups but allowing CB connections only has no affect

From within the uddeIM Administration > Blocking tab > Blocked groups (registered users)

I have blocked all groups but ticked the option "Unblock CB connections" so messages can be sent to connections of users only:




However, this seems to have no affect as any registered user can send messages to other registered users even non-connections.

Am I missing something, or is there a bug here?

May-bee a bug we have the same problem. Is anybody reading this Hello?

Blocking does only work with built-in groups. Its on my todo list for a very long time now but changing this requires lots of time I haven't currently.

How do we create them in Joomla?

Well if you don't have time than we understand however it would be cool if it worked? Very nice feature would be worth the time in our opinion.
