Email notification - Default

I too need the ability to have e-mail notification turned on by default. The vast majority of my users don't know they have a PM and therefore don't come back to the site.

I've looked at the tables, can you give me some hints on what I need to modify to make it work for my users? For now I just plan to run a query every couple of days to update anybody that has signed up.

Great component by the way...really appreciate all of your work.

See my comment above: you can use the Forgetmenot feature.

In addition, you can write a CB plugin in the registration code that sets the EMN state of every user when (s)he registers.

It would be great if any email notification component could be configured by the user to alert for specicic criteria set out in the registration form.

The user could be alerted for new users with say the same zip code, interests, hair color.

I need this very very much...

Thanks

I would like this function too!

I know it´s working with the "Forgetmenot function". But this is no real good alternative for me, because every user gets this message, if he wants or not.

Great component by the way... thx

Yep would definately help to have the ability to turn this setting on by default, though the forget me not feature will help in the meantime. Uddeim is terrific. :)
