Outbox too large

I can't seem to find a way to have the outbox messages automatically delete themselves.

Users are beginning to have 20+ pages of messages in the outbox that they didn't even know they had.

In the backend, is there a setting that will automatically delete them after X number of days?

Well, there is a setting for inbox mail only. Could you post a feature request on joomlacode, plz?

In uddeIM 0.9 you can select multiple messages, this should also do the job.

I do realize you can select multiple messages, but the end user doesn't think of doing that in their outbox everyday.

They just let it ride out and then one day they look at their outbox and there are pages of PM's sitting there.

On our server, we log queries that take longer than 3 seconds to return the results.

Time and time again, we find UdderIM (jos_sbmessages) coming up on the list.

In your opinion, does this glut of outbox messages have anything to do with it?
