uddeIM 1.0 released

You cannot use the Quick Message tab for public messages. This is security feature since the Quick Message tab does not provide any anti spam features.

Please set the plugin to registered users only.

You can use the public frontend feature of uddeIM 1.1 when you want public users to contact registered users.

Can't seem to get the popup notifications to work.

I'm using Joomla 1.0.15, and CB 1.1 along with this release of UddeIM.

I have the modified CBlogin module installed and configured.

I have popups notifications set to default, but in the several accounts I've gone into to test this they show it not activated when I go to settings and click to enable popups. Each time I click the checkbox and save it keeps the same setting with popups turned off.

I'm not sure what could be the cause.

There is a known bug with the user settings form in the backend. Do you use a different table prefix than "jos_"? If so please install the "hotfix 1" files from joomlacode.org or install uddeIM 1.1beta1.

Thank you. I do use a prefix other than _jos.

I uploaded the hotfix and the user settings tables now fill and the popups are working, however, my users are still unable to choose their settings. Even though I have popups to default when someone goes to change their settings it turns off popups automatically and they cannot be changed back.

Also, the auto-complete feature for typing usernames in the "To:" field does not seem to work either though I have it turned on.

Well, I will check the first part, maybe there is still a hardcoded jos_ somewhere.

When the autocompleter does not work, then there is a conflict with another module or template which also uses mootools.

The problem is that most components use AJAX now and lots of components use mootools. Unfortunately you can only load this library once otherwise there will be a conflict.

Open the error console in your browser and check if there is an error like "double defined function".

You have to patch uddeIM or the other component then, so the mootools is only loaded once. Or load in in your template and remove the lines in all components.

I am using a relatively dark template (Dimensions from RocketLabs) and I am using the "default" template for UddeIM. The "send" button is black text on a black background. Any way to fix this?
