(Offtopic) CB registration emails (was: Ok now..)

I have installed a totally NEW install the only thing installed is Joomla 1.58 and CB 1.2 RC4..

I've been going through this for weeks now..

I have enabled everything, set everything up correctly...the ONLY thing this system can do is register me and send me the email... Well I can send a mass email from the Admin joomla screen but when I register a new user it still will not send the confirmation email....

I know this is a problem... why is that? These are the only two things installed now.... so there is nothing else to guess at or try to figure out...

Confirmation _emails_ are not sent by uddeIM, nor by uddeIM plugins.

So you have to ask in the CB forums. Maybe nant can point you to a thread where this topic is discussed.

GOT IT! Many Thanks though. Just turn of of Smtp Auth in the Joomla GLobal config and it works perfectly!
