Critical Error: Failed to write to configuration

I have really tried to install everything in accordance with the documentation. Check the Readme and the FAQ. Either I missed the information. Or I don't have the right knowledge to fully understand the solution.

I can't solve the problem with the below message.

Critical Error: Failed to write to configuration file: /hsphere/local/home/cheermas/nordiccheer.com/administrator/components/com_uddeim/config.class.php

Have changed and double checked the files acess rights to 0777.

What else?

Have you also set the folder it is in to 0777? Otherwise the file can be written but uddeIM has still no access to the folder.

I double check that I also gave the writes to the folders. Now I got a different messages:

JFolder::create: Could not create directory
Unable to write entry

Well, since I'm a bit new the solution was easier than I thought.

Went back and check if there were any folders/files with incorrect Owner/Group and yes I found that some all of a sudden had the wrong setting. So after a quick change I could install again.
